Kanye has had some decent punches, but this is just horrible. :facepalm

Good lyrics defend themselves. The fact you have to stand up for him so much says a lot.

It's not great but it serves its purpose.

You really think he is trying to diss critics? Back in the day he was able to be provocative and push buttons, but it was all justified. So when he did receive heat, it was just by overly sensitive pussies that didn't understand his genius. Now though, even IF he is dissing critics.. like, what is he defending. He isn't mocking social sensitivity, being clever, satirically pointing out hard-to-swallow truths.... he is making puns.

So, even if he is making fun of critics (I don't think he is), he would be defending his use of puns.

Yeah.

fuck puns

EDIT.

If Em decides to diss someone again, I really hope he doesn't call them a meatball or something weird. Oh god.

He isn't dissing critics. Lol, I doubt he even knows/gives a shit about what people are saying. He's constantly surrounded by these cock huggers Royce and fucking Mr. Porter so of course they're gonna tell him that his lines are so funny and witty.

I'm pretty sure if Em knew what the critics were saying, he'd make a song full of anger, not just one line referencing his awful food puns.

anyone gonna respond to this cuz it's 100% correct. back in the early days of his career people weren't giving him heat because of how terrible his lyrics were, it's because they were sensitive and didn't want to be exposed to that kind of content. the criticism then wasn't justified which is why he retaliated.. it's completely justified now so why is he "dissing" critics?

oh ya man those critics are doing their jobs by reviewing my awful verses truthfully so i'm going to retaliate by writing more awful verses! that'll show them!
