Yeah, Jay Z definetely takes the easier route as most artists do and releases some of his best stuff as a single.

while not amazing, it's at least listenable, unlike CAB & WMY, I feel embarrassed for Em everytime I hear those songs in public

you suck. run this town is better than any eminem single off the last two albums despite being corny, i dont feel embarassed for Jay like i do Em. Already home and reminder are two of the worst songs so that shows what you know about song quality.

Anyway, the reason why people prefer Encore is because it was still old Eminem despite him not being able to rhyme on half the songs and there being filler, but amongst the filler there were a few bangers cus he stiill had them in him. whereas now we have a whole bunch of mediocre songs that feel nothing like the older songs. a new boring, moody eminem, skinny and serious. while this isnt a bad thing it hurts his image and makes it seem like that 4 year absence was a whole era passing.

the only really good songs are deja vu and stay wide awake and still they dont evoke the same feelings that us old fans used to feel.

Oh, it seems we gotta qualified rap critic on trshady, people.

Man, shut tha fuck up. Run this town was a better song overall, but Jay's rhyme scheme sucked on it. WMY had great multies, but its still shitty.
And how tha fuck does Encore feels like the old Em? Just cuz of the content? What about flows, multies, rhyme scheme? Relapse takes those rounds by far...

People gotta learn to respect other people's opinions...

Here, let's see if you Stans can take my opinion on this:

The Blueprint 3 is a better album overall than Relapse.
Yo, from the first to the last of it; delivery is passionate/
The whole and not the half of it; vocab and not the math of it/
Projectile that them blasted with; accurate assassin shit/
Me and Kweli close like... Bethlehem and Nazareth/

Then how the fuck did Blueprint 3 songs end up in this conversation? :confusion:

Wic_Kid, you're obviously a very active member on this forum. If you like to argue, you should have been here back then when there was lots of beef on these topics. :shifty:

- I can't recall him puke and using fart noise in the previous albums, help?
- Bangers? what bangers? :confusion: Mockingbird?
- I'd rather take mediocre songs on Relapse over shit songs on Encore anyday
- It WAS a whole era passing.
- Who exactly are "us old fans"? So you're saying people who like Relapse better are all new fans or something?

I think arguing is healthy as long as people don't lose their minds. :y:

When I'm arguing, I'm just stating my opinion on other people's opinion. I'm not trying to CONVERT them by any mean, but more like trying to point out the contrasting thoughts from different people.

So, yeah. It is called Trshady, but who knows? It also extends to hip hop in general, fyi.

I know that. It'd be boring if it was only about Em. Im just sayin that is stupid to call people Stans just for thinkin Em is the best - on this particular site!
