This is such a lame, overused term now due to idiotic turds lacking in real debate skills slaughtering it.

I happen to consider Eminem the best rapper ever but not at all because I haven't heard other hip-hop, don't listen to other hip-hop or because I'm a posh white kid who only buys white rap.

So this is the totally ridiculous view morons needs to stop resorting to because they're too lacking in any substance of argument. I happen to be white but I'm poor, from poor family, in a poor city and I listen to a lot of other hip-hop. And respect and enjoy hip-hop fundamentally.

The reasons why I think he's the best I could quite happily spew at any given opportunity, they're logical, observable and measurable. They're not irrational love for the guy with blonde hair. This term has just become a cop-out for anybody who can't argue against valid points of his greatness. The same level of excitement can be had for... Nas without them being 'Stans' though? Nonsense.

You're only a 'Stan' if Eminem influences every part of your being. If you dress, talk and act like him. If you live and breathe for Eminem. If you take his words and not only relate to them but act upon them with an agenda.

You're not a 'Stan' for loving his music, no matter how obsessively. I'm totally obsessed with his music. His MUSIC, not him. I'm obsessed with words, I'm obsessed with his wordplay, his irony, his character play. Similar reasons I'm obsessed with Tarrantino or other great artists. This is not being a 'Stan'.
