Have you never heard "The Way I Am"? "Run Rabbit Run"? Etc?

But this one, he is being mad about nothing just singing angry

he's doing it on purpose...hence the song title
plus you can't really use any other voice on a hard cock beat like that or you would get overpowered

psu24 wrote:People defending him yelling and saying he sounded the same way on TWIA or TIC are delusional. Throughout all his angry songs early in his career he changed his voice throughout the song now he's gone pretty much monotone and sounds more forced. I agree on this particular track it fits well on and calls for it but i'm sure the majority of the album isn't going to be him yelling.

No way, the flow on Till I Collapse is much better and different.Berry wrote:It may be a forced aggressive flow, but it's... RAW AS FUCK with pure energy
That's my main problem, it sounds too forced.
But hey, my real point isn't about whether I like the angry voice or if I liked the accent. It's just the fact that Eminem completly lost his versatility accross a whole album.
He has been spitting that same angry flow in the last few tracks including the Despicable freestyle. In Relapse there was too much of the same style of accent. Same problem there, not enough variety of flows. Go listen to the Eminem show, he sounds different on almost every tracks, in the MMLP too. But now on Recovery, it looks like he's gonna sound the same on a lot of tracks like he did in Relapse. Will it be good? Probably, but isn't a sign that he lost some of his versatile talent? Yes
