TES is pretty much perfection, even Drips is excusable.

Recovery, while good, has Not Afraid, Won't Back Down, and to lesser extents WTP and You're Never Over, so TES easily wins out in my personal opinion based on amount of good songs alone; but more than that, everything surrounding TES was just so fitting. The whole concept, everything; it's genius.

recovery is dope as shit, but the way you can REALLY tell is to think of which songs you would rather live without

seriously...i dont think i'd feel the same about rap OR eminem or even myself if i had never heard square dance, soldier, til' i collapse...superman...sing for the moment. fuck. the only track i skipped ever was "when the music stops", but ONLY after eminems verse. lot less punchlines, lot more emotion. Tupac never used punchlines yet All Eyez On Me is the best CD of all motherfuckin time. so if you consider RAP to be a genre of music, and thus emotion - The Eminem Show wins. For the fewer amount of people who consider RAP to be a genre of lyrical capability and creativity, then Recovery wins. I personally feel that music is something felt in the heart that the brain can also appreciate and admire, so I love both albums. But they are two separate dimensions of the same genius
