Steelez wrote:Where is the great lyricism on MMLP2? Besides Bad Guy and a couple of other glimpses, I don't see it.

You think lyrics like 'if it wasn't for blowjobs you'd be unemployed', or 'getting sick of these girls girls girls, oink oink oink, you fu*kin pigs, all you good for is doink doink doink', or 'the day you'll be me, pigs'll fly out my ass in a flying saucer, full of ITALIAN SAUSAGE' are remotely good, clever, or funny? like, seriously? And these are not isolated moments...there are plenty of bad lines on the album. And also, Rap God is lyrically mediocre. It needs to be said. People are quick to praise the song because he's rapping fast and rhyming big words together...sorry, but you need more than that to achieve GOOD lyricism.

Why is MCHG lyrically inferior? Jay's second verse on Holy Grail isn't good? Picasso Baby? Crown? Nickels and Dimes? Oceans? MCHG is certainly not a GREAT album, but the hate it gets is completely unwarranted.

The blowjob line was fucking hilarious. It's not meant to be technically genius. It's supposed to make you chuckle. The flying saucer line was Em making a point: The day you beat him, not only will pigs fly, but they'll fly out of his ass in a UFO stuffed with sausage.

And how is Rap God lyrically mediocre? At all? Aside from some possibly weak lines, it's fucking awesome.

Nobody asked me, but fuck it...
Attention all you remedial ass posters, the only thing more unlikely than pigs flying out of Marshall's ass in a flying saucer, is pigs flying outta Marshall's ass in a flying saucer filled with Italian sausage. Which is, you know, the POINT OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING LINE.
Idiots.
......
Also, MCHG sucks camel cock.
Peace.

Read Pitchfork's Review...
"It also revels in its predecessor’s worst behaviors, bandying about misogyny and gay slurs as if Eminem’s conciliatory 2001 Grammys performance with a pink polka dot suited Elton John never happened."

WTF?!? Did they miss the WHOLE point of that performance. That wasn't only to say Em's not a homophobe but on Elton's end to tell people to calm down about the lyrics! Elton John placed Em in his top 200 artists saying specifically that he respects Em because he has the balls to say things that nobody else does and he's an amazing poet which is why he loves him. Pitchfork has once again proved they're stupid and incapable of writing reviews.

My Review of Pitchforks review:

I am reading a lot of these reviews as they come through.
I have made a startling observation of direct correlation.
That is: The more a reviewer is pre-occupied with making their reviews a smattering polysyllabic sesquipedalian junket the heavier the reviewer will weigh down their rating.
These people are trying to usurp some kind of magical respect from the internet by crafting almost unreadable (sure, they are effectively correct) paragraphs of douchebaggery.

The reader becomes so aware of this profusion of braggadocio that they then become disinterested in the article and more upon the lavish sentences that stray the attention away from the biased low scores.

5/10 - Another strong showing from reviewer which plays to its strengths in writing but falls flat on its ass due to the proliferatingly common biased and pretentious douchebaggery.

You guys think a deadendhiphop review will be coming in a couple days? They did drake's album a day after its release.

I was thinking that controversy would help sales, but now it looks like it will hurt it. Batshit stupid fucking reviewers are abusing power by giving poor scores because he used the words faggot and gay. If they don't like it, then they can go review the clean version of the album or fuck off and donate the money they made making the review to charity because they did nothing to earn it.

Most likely gay people wouldn't buy Em's album anyways.... I'd be more worried about the leak affecting sales than gay people buying Em's album to be honest. Do people really pay attention to album reviews? Reading them it's so clear that it's just one persons opinion..

On Ems next album....I want a song called FUCK CRITICS, produced by Rick Rubin, sampling Jay Z's 99 Problems line "Fuck critics, you can kiss my whole asshole".

Would be epic. Just have him going in on Pitchfork hispter faggots.

If there were intelligent gay people, they would know reproduction is not possible through a mans ass.
