Meh. It feels like he's trying too hard lately, his verses are too complicated for there own good. It's like he's making them complicated just for the sake of it, rather then doing what's best for the song.

This is a lame / generic pop song anyway, that doesn't even call for a rap verse , so you can't be too critical. But I'd love to see eminem just lay back and have fun again like he used to. It feels like everything is forced now.

Also I don't know why he feels he has to 'growl' or make his verses sound angry every time he raps - even on songs like this that are obviously supposed to be fun and not taken seriously.

Where's that laid back Slim who just spit out rhymes effortlessly?

The first few words he said with that voice was something I hadn't heard in awhile! Like his pitch is going up like almost whinny, but in a good way. PHENOMENAL. And then the way it ends with the sirens is classic. Classic. Overall its not like it belongs with his greatest songs (nothing with a feature will be IMO) but I'm now convinced that his next album will be absolutely epic. It will blow away Recovery, Relapse, and Encore and be the closest thing to MMLP and TES. I'm just going to sit back and relax, I don't need to hear any other features until the album is released..

What I'm saying is it feels like he's trying too hard to be complicated / rap complicated verses - and my point is being complicated isn't necessarily good or that important. It's impressive, but it doesn't nessarily make a song better. I'd rather him just spit a simplistic / playful rap on this like he's done in past, like "Shake that" for example.

And on the topic of his voice, every since Recovery he sounds like he's got this overly serious / growl voice on his verses. You can here it in this one too. It's fun song, but you don't hear or feel him having fun.

It's not bad by any means, and to each his own . It's not a song I'd listen to anyway, and every artist is entitled to duds here and there.

I wouldn't call it dumbing down , I'd call it doing what works for the song / content . Just because something is complicated doesn't make it better.
