Hi, not sure if any of you will be able to help. But i had a song that i downloaded about 3 years ago that i assumed was part of the recovery album, this was not the case and after typing in lyrics (from what i can remember) on the internet i haven't been able to find it.

The song is a bit different to his usual style, its more of a stripped down song with no drums etc, but almost definite it is by eminem unless it is someone that sounds extremely similar.

here are some from what i can vaguely remember:

instead of stopping, you add more flame to your thrower. i miss you, do you miss me, is this it for us, are we history.
sub chorus along the lines of; I wanna be a friend, a friend that you can call, a friend that you can lean on every time you slip and fall, i wanna be there for you every time things get hard, and anytime you need my help i will be on call.
Chorus is somewhat like a young quire in which they sing; "i'm losing, my mind, when your not around" I believe the song is around 5 minutes long.

I understand this isn't the greatest amount to go by but any help possible would be greatly appreciated. Haven't heard the song since and don't know anyone who had any idea what it was. Thanks

closer than this is a real song. Well kinda.... In the song/video Soul intent live 92, even though its really bad quality, you can make out the words "Closer than this". but apparently (i think chaos kid (r.i.p. James) mentioned in a letter to Em) the song is actuall the unreleased 'Soul Intent' from their 1992 ep 'Still in The Bassmint'
