I first saw the video to this song on TV get played a lot, that's when I heard of Eminem, and to be honest, I hated it, I thought he was just another pop act like Nsync but worse because he was white and trying to rap at the same, for real, I'm not lieing, that was my reaction to Eminem. It wasn't until the summer was over and I went back to school and heard The Way I Am & Stan that Eminem became cool, and not just another one hit wonder, in my eyes... I was like 12 and kinda dumb then.

My Dad actually bought me the Stan single around about december time which had My Name is & Get You Mad so these where the 1st 3 songs of EM i'd heard. For Xmas i got the MMLP i was 10 at the time as soon as he heard under the influence he took it back off me and gave me it back a few weeks later hahaha
