i think its obvious so bad, on fire, and cold wind blows were made for relapse 2.
The content made them appropriate for Relapse. Relapse is not just a collection of serial killer songs, it's a concept album. The album is ordered the way it is for a reason. Dr. West skit opens the album, Em transforms into Shady in 3AM. He explains how he got this way in My Mom, by blaming his mother. He explains a little more how he got this way in Insane, but blaming it on his stepfather this time. Bagpipes is a random song displaying Shady's craziness. Hello is him reintroducing Shady to the world. Same Song and Dance is one of his misadventures. We Made You is not relevant to the concept. Medicine Ball is him basically saying he's got the whole world in his hands, and it's time for the world to hate him again (which is derived from the chorus, obviously). Stay Wide Awake is another storytelling track. Old Time's Sake doesn't really relate to the concept either, but it involves weed and it's supposed to be a fun track in the midst of all the dark tracks. Must Be The Ganja is about the crazy shit that Em and Dre came up with in the studio, and, if you notice, he starts to lose the accent here and he begins to become normal again. Deja Vu is about his overdose and he starts to realize he needs to stop. Beautiful is him realizing that he doesn't need to impress anyone. Crack A Bottle has nothing to do with the concept. Then Underground is the old Shady reawakening
So, you see, this album chronicles him relapsing, then slowly climbing out of that hole. The album is filled with dark content and black humor. Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, and any other song would not fit at all on this album, because these songs display a confident, more happy Eminem. There is no happiness in Relapse. The content alone does not fit in with Relapse. These tracks ARE what I would consider "Shady" tracks, but this is a more calm and collected Slim Shady than the one we see on Relapse
That was way too much to type...
