Went shopping with my brothers and my mom and she told us we could each pick an album in the record store. The Eminem Show had just dropped and it was the first album that caught my attention, so I took it. Oooh, sweet memories.

I guess i've always been aware of him,def heard some singles before,but i wasn't that much into rap back then and i don't remember Eminem beeing played on radio over here .
Then Encore was out.I was browsing for some music and downloaded an entire folder of mixed music, and Love you more & Crazy in love(loved the flow)were among them.But i still wasn't a fan,like.... i just liked the beat,i wasn't really paying attention to lyrics or wanting to actually listen to the whole album.
So i actually became a real fan early this year .I was browsing youtube and i saw the video for Beautiful.I was instantly hooked and this made me look more and more into Eminem and rap mostly.

^I actually love about 98% of his music haha.Love Relapse maybe even a bit more then Recovery.I can see why some people might not like the "new" Em but i don't have a problem with it.I even like Encore Actually i'm looking forward to his next album

I kinda envy you, cuz you got the chance to listen those albums for the first time now, after Encore and Relapse. But, I became a fan way before, when Em wasn`t as big as he is now. People would talk like "why do you listen to him, he is white, there are no his videos on tv, he is not popular enough...". I always said that I don`t care if he is popular or not, but soon Em became bigger than everybody, and those people bumped his music, and I was like "what`s up dumb bitches". Those were the times. I think I`ll listen to TES now, I`m kinda nostalgic.

To be honest, I was 12 years old and probably wouldn't realize he did. And IF I remember right I had stopped listening to boy bands at the time.

No, first song I heard was Role Model. SSLP was already out when I became a fan. But here, in my country, Em got popular with The Real Slim Shady video. Till then, I never met anybody that listend to him.
