You're the baddest little chain with the blades I ever saw

Making it rain for the ladies in the mini’s
But I’m not throwing ones, five’s, ten’s or even twenty’s
I’m throwing quarters, nickels, dimes, pennys
Up at skinny’s, man I do this for them bunnys up at Denny’s

You're so negative lol it amazes me why you still stick around if you don't even like his music anymore

(I KNOW you didn't say you didn't like his music, but you've really had nothing but negative opinions on his music since Recovery came out)

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

I think they're all pretty clever. I'm not saying they're all genius, complicated lines, but they're witty and intelligent, IMO.

I do still like his music (not some of his more recent features, though). I enjoyed Recovery.

And anyway, what's wrong with posting here if I didn't like his new stuff? I'm still a fan of Eminem. I don't see why people can't accept when people have negative viewpoints.

I'm just giving my honest opinion.

Some people have mentioned a few lines from 'Where I'm At' but not the one that got me. He 's talking about getting back at KIM and says:

"I over came odds to get even" :8)

I think this is the most simple one that has been posted but really I it has the biggest impact.
"I Knew I Wanted To Be A Rapper When I Was 14"

"No One Looked Twice At Me When I First Signed To Dre"

"I Wasn't Thinking That The Peroxide Thing Was Going To Be My Look; I Was Just Being Stupid On Drugs"

Forgive me before when I said recovery was bad.... As a whole the album (for an eminem album) was bad/behind.... Generic, repetitive beats ruined it totally. Eminems lyricism (like I said) was decent but definitely not "one of his best" if you consider 4th (if not 5th) out of 7 "one of his best" then you need help with your math. If you consider it better than any of his 1st three albums then you are likely a new fan who was entertained by not afraid or ltwyl from the radio....

This. Most of the lines in this thread are. Em's best verses this year are the ones that don't have attempts at metaphors/punchlines. It was really hard to forgive that Ketchup/Mustard line in the middle of You're Never Over, especially since he stated clearly that he knew how corny it was :shakehead:

There's nothing really wrong with it, it's just kinda redundant. There are a few people who don't like Em at all, and yet they're still on this forum, so that shit kinda baffles me

I didn't know you actually liked Recovery, though? You've always kinda struck me as the kinda guy who would totally hate it, tbh lol. Good to see I'm proven wrong though
