SSLP - it was too perfect in every way
MMLP - The concepts were too creative, and the flow was too precise
TES - Some of the lyrics had rhyme schemes that were too complex and intricate
LMAO!!!!
You living in a fantasy world if you think those were the worldwide reactions to those albums, SMH
Just cause you liked them better isnt relevant to the point, there have always been a large number of people shitting on what he does
Those people aren't Eminem fans, though.
OK, there was maybe a SMALL percentage of people who thought he "sold out" with MMLP or TES, as there is with any underground artist once they hit mainstream, but the reaction to the atrocity that was Encore was completely fair. The less intuitive fans knew it sucked but didn't know why...so they just postulated, "hey, maybe I out-grew Eminemz!!!111"
The smarter ones basically gave up on him and wondered what was wrong...because SOMETHING was wrong.
Whats an Eminem fan exactly??
I know people who love his serious shit, and hate his funny shit, others who hated his songs dissing his mother but love the Duet he did with Rhianna, some who liked Lose Yourself, others who prefer 3 A.M, etc etc
I never said I didnt agree with some of the criticisms, just acknowledging that they've been equally as present in every stage of his career, starting from his very first single that hit TV all the way up to the latest song leak, and I've heard the "He needs to go back to his roots" argument since his first album dropped, and I was online hearing people say "Man, this underground ininite album is great, he shoulda never sold out and did that clown show My Name is shit"
