I hate it that he's gonna get signed to Shady Records. :facepalm

Yelawolf>>>>anything Em did after Recovery...so yeah.

I don't want jump into this argument but Difficult & Cocaine > * :zipped:

:facepalm just because it leaked after recovery doesnt mean he did it after recovery. He did those clearly not post recovery

Yeah, plus it's not even Eminem that announced it via his Twitter or Facebook (25 million+ fans). The news broke on Rap Radar right? Which isn't really a major website in the grand scheme of things.

They should definitely post the link to the story on Em's Facebook.

I'll be honest and say I've only really heard 'Pop The Trunk' so I can't really have an opinion at the moment. I did enjoy this track though, it's different....but good.

I look forward to any forthcoming Yelawolf material, and will judge it with an open mind

Neither Slaughterhouse or Yelawolf are going to 'blow up' like 50 Cent did, because they are not that type of artist to do so. However, being on Shady Records, with Eminem's guidance can only be a good thing for them and I see no reason why they can't develop a cult following, within time.

Eminem doesn't give a shit about their commercial appeal or sales (and neither should you). As long as the music is good, that is all I care about.

You'd be losing a large amount of money then on me then. I've listened to both Trunk Muzik and Trunk Muzik 0-60.
And I hated almost all of it. His flow, his content. I'm not gonna deny he has SOME lyrical skill, but yeah... He ain't really a hell of a rapper.
Being on Shady Records can only be a good thing for HIM, but not for Eminem himself. In my oppinion he's only wasting his time on this kid and at 38, he's really not got that much time left in his career to waste.
And as for the GOOD music, I'm only looking forward to the Slaughterhouse part.

??????

What do you mean "At 38 he cant afford to waste time"

Maybe as an MC, but whats his age got to do with running a record label??.............Jimmy Iovine is over 60

Let me stress, before people see this and get the wrong impression.... THESE ARE OLD VIDEOS but they seem more relevant than ever to post in this topic.

He's wasting his time as an MC when he focuses on producing and running the label.
