His first 3 albums are way ahead of Relapse in every aspect. I like Relapse though. I think it's a solid album.

I believe Relapse is the most superior album production-wise, rhyme-wise It's up there with MMLP and TES, SSLP is on a league of it's own, Story-Telling-wise and Imagery it's also way up there

it's just the appeal to masses where it's not with those 3 IMO, and if it was, it prolly wouldn't be as impressive on the other sides which are more important in hip-hop

I see no reason why Relapse shouldn't be up with those 3 albums, but hey, that's just me

I still consider TES to be ahead of SSLP rhyme wise. Don't get me wrong, SSLP's rhyming is incredible, not many rappers will ever come close to that. But the highlights on TES are better than SSLP in my opinion. The intricate rhyme schemes of Sing For The Moment, Till I Collapse, White America, Soldier etc is just outstanding. SSLP sounds more effortless but in terms of complexity, I'd give it to TES.

Where did I suggest multi's were all that matters in a good rap song? Of course it isn't. We seem to be in an anti-multi phase at the moment on TR lol. It's stupid really, a solid rhymer should not be frowned upon. Those who claim it's the bread and butter to a rap song are the ones who are wrong. But like I said, it isn't all that matters, you need substance.

The rhyming on SSLP is so incredibly smooth, it flows almost perfectly to any beat you can find. But Em's writing was easily better during the 8-mile era. The patterns in TES are so intricate, it's amazing. It's a toss up for the better rhyming album, though I'd probably lean towards Encore.

This thread is ridiculous, Relapse is nowhere's near TES, & the MMLP, as well as the SSLP, light years ahead of that sh*t. Encore, without all the silly tracks, I can say could be better as well.

The accent is horrendous for the most part too.
