I sure do find it funny when people say "Em needs to work with so-and-so, or have this type of beat, or write this type of song, and all of a sudden his writing will magically be like it used to be!". The secret to getting better at something is practice. He's been slowly but surely getting better again since '07- give it time, folks. It'll never be what it was, but it'll get to be something just as good, given enough practice over time. Keep in mind, it took him YEARS to get from writing songs like "Pooh-Butt Day" to songs like "Dumpin'"[D12]. He'd been spending every waking moment devising new lyrics for an entire decade before we got the lyrics for SSLP. It will take him years again. If I were to throw out a guess as to how long? I give it five more years. Of course that's pretty much pulling a number out of my ass.
That being said- I would love to see Em on a track with Hopsin. Something horrorcore

I don't care what anyone says to the contrary- Hopsin is an ill lyricist, I could even see him getting as good as MMLP, given time. Check out "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5".

Chocolate covered almonds, butter,

Mango drippin' down mah chin, if you've got buffalo count me in!

Pomegranates, a ball o' cabbage, sharin' it all with the dog 'n rabbits-
If I got chicken, the kitten's gotta have it- food is good and life is lavish!
