The first verse had the best lyrics on the song but it was still filled with mediocre lines and piss poor wordplay that doesn't really serve in purpose. OMG get it, it's PICKET fence. No, that's stupid. Eminem throws in random wordplay that doesn't help the song and takes away from the message, which this song had none.

Just because it's wordplay from Em doesn't make it "piss poor". Em's been doing wordplay like this since day fucking one. And regarding the picket fence line: I actually thought the double entendre was clever, and okay at the worst. He's saying that he's making critics go on the fence (unsure) of whether or not to picket (aka protest against him like they did in the 2000 era). And you said it yourself, dude. How the fuck can he take away from the message when there is none? It's a fun song where Em's just going crazy, or rather, berserk.

And don't bring this bullshit about mocking the game. It didn't go over anyone's heads it went under their heads because it was executed horribly. My Name Is was Eminem being funny and mocking the game. TRSS and WM was Eminem being funny and mocking people. This was Eminem coming with terrible, not at all thought out lines. My Name Is was NOT Em mocking the game. It was him mocking celebrities and introducing himself to the world. This is the first time in any lead single that Em has actually blatantly decided to dedicate a verse to mocking other rappers. And no, it shouldn't go over anyone's head because it's BLATANTLY FUCKING OBVIOUS. You have yet to show WHY it was executed horribly. The entire second verse was Em showing exactly what wack rappers do (use corny punchlines to hype up themselves and ability to pick up women)

Nothing about that is creative or funny. It's honestly embarrassing, especially considering that Eminem is almost/over 40 and is rapping about picking up women and turning up at a party. The first verse had decent lyrics that were ruined by the Kick it! sounds he threw in that completely destroys the verse sonically.

It's a homage to the Beastie Boys. The adlibs add a rock-ish vibe to it, and for the first time in a long time, Eminem is doing something NEW. Shut the fuck up with your sonic bullshit. It makes each of the lines sound cool as fuck.

The third verse is him trying to be funny I guess? Even though his delivery/voice and the beat changes up so much and so often that it's a complete train wreck and renders the song completely unlistenable.

The beat stays mostly the same through the entire song. It's his voice that changes, and what's the fucking problem with it? He used to do that shit all the time.

Not to mention the lines themselves aren't funny whatsoever. The swallow line is stupid and out of place, not to mention poorly executed because one meaning is a verb and the other is a noun making it so it doesn't work both ways.

No one ever said Em was a master of grammar. Though (and I'm not sure about this, so correct me if I'm wrong) don't guys tend to label girls a "spit" or a "swallow"? And how is the line out of the place? Works perfectly with the previous Birdman line.

Then he ends the song with possibly his worst line of all time? "This is your jam, unless you got toe jam."

Not the best line, but it's a lead-in to his chorus. But of course, it's Em, and anything out of his mouth that sounds remotely not-perfect these days is automatically the worst shit you've ever heard.

Annotation. — He teases new-school rapper Future, because he always “raps” about how he drinks codeine . Also, a play on words with Future’s name. The future is tomorrow. So he’s going to knock Future into tomorrow.
Codeine has been a popular drug to rap about for rappers like Future and A$AP Rocky. But Em is saying that compared to all of the drugs he has done in his past, codeine is nothing, so there’s no need to brag about drinking it.
At the end of this line he goes into the devilish “My Darling” voice at the mention of drugs, taking them back to the level of drug issues he was at, making their bragging sound ridiculous.
