Hahaha. Prove it, then. Show me these great internal rhymes I'm missing.

I think you're easily impressed by simple shit because you're in love with a song that is lacking in lyrical complexity.

The quote you cited: I never said that.

You're seriously reaching. "laughter, pain" "chapter aGAIN" is forced. And I guess you're referring to the "till we bust, till we cuss" part as a multi when it isn't. Lust/trusts/bust/cuss is just a series of monosyllabic rhymes, not a multi.

And whether the "out the house" part is repeated for emphasis or not, it's still lazy lyricism. I highly doubt that he purposely repeated that line when he could have rhymed it, he is Eminem after all.

See, you're reaching again. The first 3 parts you bold aren't true multis. The first syllable and the last two syllables in the series that rhyme are separated by 2 middle syllables that don't rhyme. These are "other" " but I'm" and "we're both".

"You and me/screwin me" repeats "me". Meh.

"to a degree/true indeed" also doesn't work. "a de-" and "ind" separate the "to/true" and "gree/-eed" rhymes.

The next 4 in bold are pretty unimpressive.

"Soft and warm/off then on" is another force, as "warm" does not rhyme with "on". In the rest you have in bold (other than common bond/condom on) he repeats syllables.

Evan C. wrote:This is the best verse, and it's still weak as fuck. Where is he rhyming his ass off exactly?

The first 2 you bold ARE a true multi, I missed that. The next is another one forced, as "really/Billy" don't rhyme.

"pull each other's legs" and 'til the other begs" is not a multi. "pull each" and "til the" don't rhyme, and "other" is repeated. "Begs/legs" is the only rhyme there.

'Cuz we truly love each other, that's why we always fight
And all we do is shove each other every other fuckin' night

No true multis again. "love/shove" is the only non-repeat rhyme in there. "Fight" and "night" are 1-syllable words.

And it's clear, it ain't gonna change, this pinned up rage
We both have, we both feel like we've been upstaged

Love You More > most of the eminem show lyrically.

LMAO. You can't possibly be serious.

The only songs on TES that is anywhere close to this rhyme-wise are When The Music Stops (Em's verse), My Dad's Gone Crazy and MAYBE Superman.

On most every song on The Eminem Show he ripped it.

This is the dumbest argument I have ever had the displeasure to be a part of. It's music. Enjoy it. Even if the song was his worst ever, lyrically, it's still aflame in a hearth of fiery passion.
I'm in between both of your arguments.
I don't think most of it was "weak as fuck"
Nor do I think it's anywhere near topping TES

Love You More is nowhere close to being quality Eminem work, and it's not because it's lacking in multis.

It's because of his word choice and embarrasingly vulgar, cliche, immature, and stupid content.

My breakdown:

"It's sick but who could ever predict we'd be doin' the same shit
We say that we do it for our baby but we don't, we do it for us
It's lust, 'cuz neither one of us trusts each other so we fuck
'till we bust, 'till cuss each other out, we know what it's about"

*We FUCK till we BUST...horrible...and inappropriate for a SERIOUS song. Then he places awkward emphasis on "CUSS" to force the rhyme to pop out in the place he wants it to. And it's poor word choice.

*"We know what it's about"...meaningless line used to rhyme with "out."

"Shout 'till I throw you out the house, you throw me out the house
I throw you on the couch, punch you in the mouth, we fist fight
'till we turn this mother out and apologize after, laughter"

*"Turn this mother out"...WHAT? What does THAT mean exactly? Another meaningless line only there as filler.

"Pain, it's insane, we're back in the same chapter again"

*"It's insane" is forced and cheapens the whole line. It's a predictable rhyme and overused word that carries no weight.

*"And it's sad but it's true, when i'm laying here with you
There ain't nothing anyone could ever say or ever do 'cuz"

-This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. There ain't nothing anyone could ever say or ever do....ever say or ever do WHAT? There ain't nothing anyone could ever say? Sure there is. GREEN JELLO. I just SAID.

There ain't nothing anyone could ever do? I just slammed my first on the desk. I just did something.

I guess he was wrong.

"'Cuz I hate you, do you hate me?
Good, 'cuz you're so fuckin beautiful when you're angry
It makes me wanna just take you and just throw you
on the bed and fuck you like I don't even know you"

*We're STILL on the crude hardcore FUCKING in verse 2? I think we already got the picture.

"You FUCK other people and I FUCK other people
You're a SLUT, but i'm equal, i'm a MUTT, we're both evilin our ways
but neither one of us would ever admit it
'Cuz one of us would have one up on the other so forget it"

"More references to FUCKING...SLUT...even in his old "shock rap" songs he would've stopped by now.

"We can make accusations, people spread rumours
But they ain't got proof, 'till they do, it's just the two of us
You and me, 'cuz any chick can say that she's screwin' me
But you gotta believe it to a degree 'cuz true indeed
If you didn't I wouldn't be hittin', yeah I would
'Cuz the sex is too damn good, if I ran, who would I run to"

*Can't stay on point...he starts out saying Kim would still FUCK him even if she didn't believe him when he said he wasn't cheating on her, yet he deviates toward randomly rhetorically asking "who would he run to?"

"that would be this soft and warm? So it's off and on
Usually more off then on but at least we know that we
Share this common bond, you're the only one I can fuck without a condom on"

*"You're the only one I can fuck without a condom on" That's just flat-out embarrasing. This is supposed to be a SERIOUS SONG, yet the DEPTH of what he's talking about is Kim is important to him because he can FUCK HER WITHOUT A CONDOM ON. Eminem is no doubt embarrassed by this shit now that he's sober.

"I hope the only reason that I cope
Is 'cuz of that fact and I can bust in that, and that's why"

*PLUS HE CAN 'BUS IN THAT! That's his revelation--he can ejaculate in Kim! In this uber-DEEP song, he shares that with us at the end of the second verse. And it's redundant--he already said he can "fuck her without a condom on"--that ENTAILS "'bussin in that." This line is indescribably horrid.

"I can never understand it, that's why I don't try
From junior high until we both die, you silly hoe why must we try
Is it really so rough that we must always call each other's Billy Goat's Gruff
Try to pull each other's legs until the other begs
We're lying to ourself, that's the beauty of it, yeah
'Cuz we truly love each other, that's why we always fight
And all we do is shove each other every other fuckin' night"

*He's just repeating the same shit he already said--"WE TRULY LOVE EACH OTHER...WE ALWAYS FIGHT...WE SHOVE EACH OTHER"

And rhyming "love each other" with "shove each other" is about as corny as it gets.

"And it's clear, it ain't gonna change, this pent-up rage
We both have, we both feel like we've been upstaged
By someone else, we've both been someone else's someone else
The problem is neither one wants help, it's an addiction
And it can't be fixed, our family's mixed up
There's a baby sister in the mix and it hurts 'cuz the pieces to the puzzle don't fit
And anybody who thinks he knows us doesn't know shit"

-This part's great. Too bad it's the only good part in the song. It's sad that he had a flash of brilliance here and it was wasted on this horrible track.

"And they're probably just tired of hearing it all the time on every song
Every lyric and every rhyme, all the hoopla, all of the woopty woo
What you put me through, fuckin' woopty do
But I won't be made a fool of, if this is true love
You wouldn't do what you did last time, you wouldn't screw up
This time, 'cuz this time girl i'm tellin you what
You do it again and i'm fuckin' you up 'cuz no matter"

*whoppti-whoo/Whoopdi-do...there are no words to describe that. It's cringe-worthy, to say the least.

So that about summarizes it.

The time you spent writing your little analytical essay there... you're never getting it back. It's gone. Dead. That makes me sad to know that you don't appreciate life enough to savor the moments it gives you.

It's music.

I like it.

We're lying to ourself, that's the beauty of it, yeah

^ here.

By someone else, we both been someone else's someone else
The problem is neither one wants help, it's an addiction

^ here.

And it can't be fixed, our family's mixed up
There's a baby sister in the mix and it hurts 'cuz the pieces to the puzzle don't fit
And anybody who thinks he knows us doesn't know shit
But I won't be made a fool of, if this is true love
You wouldn't do what you did last time, you wouldn't screw up

^ here.

This is the respectable part of the song lyrically...and we're only halfway through the LAST VERSE. He's rhyming his ass off!!!11111111

Love You More > most of the eminem show lyrically.

LMAO. You can't possibly be serious.

The only songs on TES that is anywhere close to this rhyme-wise are When The Music Stops (Em's verse), My Dad's Gone Crazy and MAYBE Superman.

On most every song on The Eminem Show he ripped it.

ok, i'm not going to bother responding to every point as that would be boring as fuck so i'll address a couple. basically, you're being way too scientific & clinical about what a multi is & what a rhyme is. a rhyme is something with the same syllabic 'sound' as something else, so yes, Billy & really do rhyme. & what do you mean 'shove' & 'love' are the only non-repeating rhymes of truly love each other/do is shove each other. 'do is' rhymes with the 'truly' part. & basically 80% of the multis you're claiming aren't multis... are. eminem is known for manipulating the enunciation of certain words to rhyme... until the other begs/pull each other's legs is a multi-syllabic rhyme because he pronounces 'until' as 'untool' & the as 'thee.'

Annnnd you're impressed by weak, forced lyricism as I expected.

who gives a shit what true multis are anyway? Infinite is full of true multis & is fucking terrible. Relapse is chock full of multis & isn't as good as his first three albums.

Infinite isn't terrible, and it isn't great. The major problem with it was that the production value was so low, not the lyrics.

Relapse is full of multis, yes, but many of them are forced and/or use corny words or pronunciations. On his first 3 albums he was much more sharp, and did that a lot less (including The Eminem Show, which for the most part was far superior lyrically to Love You More.)

It's music.

I like it.

Simple.

You're a worthless cesspool of internet idiocy. Seriously....oh no, I wasted 5-10 minutes typing that up....when instead I could've been listening to Straight From the Lab in that time!!!
