its all opinion... but I feel my opinion of tupac being the best is more fact than anything. I've listened to all different kinds of music and I dont know anyone who listens to music more often than I do. 2pac just gives me a vibe that I dont get from any other artists.
I am in no way dissing Em, just saying 2pac was the G.O.A.T.
Eminem = Best Rapper Alive without a doubt

I know it's a matter of opinion, but Pac is way overrated.

1. It is true Eminem has a variety of topics he covers in perhaps his first two albums. Stan is without a doubt a story-telling song, but many other rappers have done that before him. You call Kim cinematic? I suppose it does sound a little "movie-like", but Kim, despite its emotional impact on the listener, has very low-quality lyricism compared to other MMLP songs.
how do you figure this? 'low-quality lyricism'??? Kim is an amazing piece of voice-acting, story-telling, & writing.
far too much importance is placed on mutli-syllabic rhyming on this message board.

did eminem accomlish what pac did by age 25...not even close
Eminem is the shit, and a legend in his own right
Tupac Shakur, at least in my mind....will always be the greatest ever.
anyone who disagrees cannot have really looked into the depth of pacs collection.

Firstly, accomplishing X by a certain age doesn't mean he's better lmao. Eminem had a lot more to overcome for one, I'm sure if he was black he would of been signed years earlier.
Secondly, saying anyone who disagrees Pac was the best can't of looked into his collection properly is bigotry of the highest and most stupid order.
I know all of Pac's shit. As well as Nas' shit and Em's.
And I DISAGREE. Eminem beats Pac in every aspect IMO. Again, MY OPINION, I'm not stating it fact like you do.
Eminem re-invents his style every album. Pac kept the same one. Eminem has covered about 2,000 topics. Pac... Stayed within the handful of familiar ones like 99% of all other rappers.
Eminem is better at rhyming, emotion, anger, flow, songwriting, lyricism, hooks, concepts. Anything.
It's just because Pac is dead, he went out on a high. It'd be like Em dying after The Marshall Mathers LP. But it doesn't automatically make him the best ever forever.
Also, being 'real' doesn't impress me. 50 Cent is as real as it gets when it comes to gangsta but he's an awful lyricist and has an embarressing flow.
It wouldn't matter if Em had 100% made up every aspect of his life until now. Doesn't change his skillset on the mic. I'm impressed by talent, not image.
And in the talent region, Em beats Pac everytime IMO.
