Well I agree his video themes have been a bit corny lately.

But I would hardly call "We Made You" a good video lmao. It's an awful video. Even though it's intentionally over the top and tongue-in-cheek, it's too spoof-like, too tacky for an artist that good.

I'd say his last truly great video was... "Mosh". The whole marching / sub-cartoon theme felt perfect for that song and it was executed very well. Although "Not Afraid" (despite being a bit cheesy) was still a pretty decent video too.

I feel he always wastes such opportunity with visuals though. He tends to put a lot of emotion into his videos but not much else. I mean, just picture a video for "Kim" for MMLP too. Or a video for "97 Bonnie and Clyde"... Omg man, he could of taken those classics to a whole new level with videos. Really cemented some totally unique visuals in history.

As for Relapse, I think he could of sold the album (as in selling the concept) so beautifully had he picked the right songs and done high-concept videos. Picture a video for "Medicine Ball", with him as a sort of evil dictator, world in his palm... Man, the visuals for that album could of been extreme, sublime and utterly original. He wasted that album big-time.

I really wish he would do videos for "Almost Famous", "Cinderella Man" and "Space Bound" too. The first is almost a dead-no but the latter two seem likely / possible.
