still it looks like love the way you lie is around 100K more than dynamite. Last week it looked the same and LTWYL outsold Dynamite by like 110 K. (109K to be exact. 332K - 223K)

so when LTWYL starts to die, Dynamite would have already fallen off. LTWYL doesnt need to worry about that song snatching #1. I Like It by Enrique Iglesias is not going to snatch it either.

DJ Got Us Falling In Love by Usher and Teenage Dream by Katy Perry are the main challengers.

she's a single artist so as long as she puts out catchy pop songs she'll be fine. But other than that she's not going to achieve critical success or album sale success so.. and I don't think she can sell tour either (she sucks live)

I like Katy but her music is definition of generic. Cali girls is just a rip-off of Tik Tok, it's like a winning safe formula for successful single. One of reason why CG is so big because this is summer & people need a summer song to jam too, all other big girls don't drop anything around this time so her success seem easy.

Most of her hits have a bit of an edge to them though, whether it's lyrics that are slightly raunchy or taboo, Snoop's part in CG, etc. But yeah, it's a pretty generic song and not that catchy compared to Teenage Dream, Kissed a Girl, Hot N Cold, etc.

I wonder if Em will duplicate the winning formula and work with other pop stars on the next album...it's definitely the hot thing now in music at least.

Rihanna at least has hip hop background. Worked with Jay-Z. TI. Pink has more of a rock edge.

I don't see Em ever doing a track with a 100% pure pop star like Katy, Taylor Swift, and etc.
