Hmm, let's see:

25 to Life: absolutely terrible, hoarse voice. Terrible beat with click drums. A concept that's been done about a thousand times before (where the twist is revealed in a blatant way: FUCK YOU HIP HOP, get it????). Horribly imprecise flow. Sloppy-as-fuck rhyming.

Underground: a good voice and delivery. A good flow with some good rhyming. A good Dre beat. Nostalgic lyrics.

Which one is better?

Very inaccessible conversation for me, though Underground's hook/beat are great and he rides it very well. The rhyming is also really good although I struggle to find a single line I actually like, so I'd say I sonically prefer Underground.

I love the theme of 25 to life. I think the flow is excellent, the way the beat evolves throughout the song is great, and the chorus is bloody brilliant.
