Okay I got it. The "alterego" Eminem doesn't shoot himself, he has no gun in his hands. It's just him in the future telling the story, so he remembers all the flashbacks.

He strangles Sasha Grey, but in the future, he already killed her. So she's not there.
He has no gun but since he killed himself, it's an after effect of the past, the future him will also die.

Fuck it, even I can't understand what i just wrote.

A bit too melodramatic for my liking.

The split personality thing was a good idea but after the first verse they just seemed to completely abandon it. Rest of it was basically Love The Way You Lie with a different girl; Em looks angry and moves around while it cuts to other clips that tell the story. Him choking her was badly executed and came out of virtually nowhere, the shooting himself thing was just funny because it's so overly serious.

And I'm a girl, but I still don't usually like his songs/videos like this one and LTWYL. The best thing I can say about this video is that Eminem looks cute

But the 13-year-olds will eat this up. I predict 300,000,000+ views on YouTube.

Gun-toting Eminem murders his girlfriend then shoots himself in shocking new music video...

Controversial rapper Eminem is famous for his portrayal of split personalities.

But in his latest shocking music video the hip-hop star has taken the concept further than ever before.

He plays two versions of himself in Space Bound, from his smash hit Recovery album, one who discovers his girlfriend has been cheating on him and another seemingly reflecting on the situation.



The former comes to a violent end, with the rapper seeming to hallucinate, strangling his lover to death after he discovers she is cheating on him.

The girlfriend in the video, played by porn star Sasha Grey, who he calls a ‘blood sucking succubus’ in the song, is found to be cheating after he checks her mobile phone messages.

And the video gets even more graphic, as once the multi-platinum selling bad boy realises it was just his imagination he pulls out a gun and kills himself.

The lyrics in the song are also extremely violent.

At one point he raps: ‘I'm trying to stop you from breathing, I put both hands on your throat, I sit on top of you squeezing.’

Later on he continues: ‘Tears stream down both of my cheeks, then I let you just go and just give.

‘And before I put that gun to my temple I told you this.’


The video, however, ends ambiguously, with the sequence totally rewinding.

He ends up walking down the street, and apparently jumps in his girlfriend’s car when it pulls up alongside him.

It is the latest controversial move from Eminem, who in the past has showed an obsessed fan killing himself and his pregnant girlfriend by driving off a bridge in the video for chart-topper Stan.

The violent nature of the video is sure to draw even more controversy to the star, who is one of music’s biggest bad boys.

Eminem, 38, is famous for using multiple personalities in his songs to fit different styles and subject matters.

His most famous alter ego is Slim Shady, which he uses for dark and violent songs with a comical twist.

Even Eminem is considered to be an alter-ego, with his true self being Marshall Mathers, his name in real life.

He also has a character called Ken Kaniff, a gay man who pokes fun at Eminem's songs.

Eminem's caustic personality has been a key to his success but has led to a series of feuds with other stars.

The Detroit native has had high-profile bust-ups with Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Limp Bizkit and Ja Rule.

He does, however, have a softer side, and often talks of his love for his 15-year-old daughter Hailie.

He also has his own charity, The Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantaged youth in his home state of Michigan.

The gun is not real. Paul is a Jew, he would have thought of that beforehand and warned Em about it.
