it's an awesome beat (though I prefer So Far and Love Game over this) it's still a fresh song but it seems to me it's the song which has the most similar sounding beat throughout the whole playing of the song (it sounds the same all the way until the end, not bad though, and I need to listen to it more to judge again)

Em produced it? Dam. Dope.
I wish MMLP2 was basically all samples like that.
Because Em's idea of shit feeling nostalgic via the samples / vibe without him needing to direclty imitate the MMLP style was a brilliant idea... except he didn't stick to it.
RoR + Berzerk sound like the same album despite being vastly different in sound ,due to this reason. If he had stuck to it... Shady XV woulda sounded right at home and been a dope outro track.
But he had to go and mix The Monster and Survival and shit in there...
Just fucking stick to your guns Em. Stick to a vibe ffs.
On the real though - Shady XV is like my favourite Em ever. Because it's like an onslaught of ideas and humour and rhymes yet clever, self-aware, funky... it's just perfect and so dense that you could listen 100 times and hear new things. But it's not complex for its sake, there's so much character again. Fuck. This is MMLP2.
