That was all I disagreed with him on really. But he did a great review, I enjoyed it. And for some reason I'm really glad he enjoyed it as well, I was hoping he would go easy on it and was surprised to see he took it like all people should take albums: he looked at the music itself and enjoyed it. Good for him. :y:

7/10 from Fantano is very good, I don't see the problem with the score.

i watched it just for shits and giggles, im not really keen on the dude, pretty fair review actually, but you're right about him being over critical on the hooks, i also disagree with him going on about cringeworthy lines. he called out legacy for the one syllable rhyming, yet he doesnt realize that it was the same rhyme scheme throughout the entire song. smh... but the funniest thing for me is reading the butthurt cornye stans comments

I just love the smugness of this guy, and others like him. “I’m a sophisticated, mature adult who’s outgrown Eminem. I used to like him, but now I am more cultured and I drink wine and read the morning newspaper.”

I like how he says he can still enjoy South Park and George Carlin despite how crude/immature they are. Anyone who considers either of those things even slightly immature is an absolute moron.

You can tell in his review that he's just regurgitating things he's read on forums like this.

'a total prick who refuses' to grow up... lmao, what an idiot.

This cunt is another in a long line who don't understand Eminem's music or him as an artist.

No wonder he thinks he's 'grown out of it'. Fucking cock.

Anyway... pretty fair review. Totally disagree about hooks not being one of Em's strong points though; now maybe not but in his prime he constructed the best original rap hooks.

Also, this constant shit from Em fans or whenever Em releases a new album where a reviewer says like 'THIS is the Eminem I've been waiting for'... or like he said "the competitive Eminem people have been wanting for a long time"... when in reality, Em's been rapping his mind out since his return.

Whatever you think of Relapse, HTS and Recovery - to say Eminem isn't rapping competitively or putting in lyrical effort (again, forget the content or what you think of individual lines, or his style; just on technicalities alone) - is just absurd. It's just because it wasn't in the more conversational style people wanted, but how the fuck is "Almost Famous" not insane competitive rap lmao.

Shits on the album for 11 minutes and give it a 7.

He didn't like the beats, he didn't like most the choruses, he had problems with the content and the flows.

But it was a 7. Also he shit on Relapse. Fuck that guy.

Yup, which is partially why he enjoyed this album so much I believe. I'm glad Fantano liked it, really.

I don't know about all of you, but I've out-grown Eminem's 7-syllable, intricately woven rhyme schemes and biting wit. They're for the children.

I've moved onto mature music such a love songs written with unbelievably cliched, monosyllabic rhyme schemes. Baby, blah blah blah love you. Baby, blah blah blah it's true. Baby, blah blah blah lie. Baby, blah blah blah die. You know, with talented musicians who play instrumentz (generic chord progressions).

When it comes to hip hawp, I've moved onto grown ass man hip hawp like Rakim rapping about rapping and Kanye singing about hoes. Ya'll need to grow up, get your job in a cubicle and focus on your "career," drink your coffee, have your childwen, and DVR mature showz like The Walking Dead so you can watch zombiezzzz and soap opera-caliber acting (at best).

Ma-ture. Mature.
