I hope he does newer shit, plus that song relates perfectly because cinderella man was the boxing movie also, but that's the thing, it already was a boxing movie so that song wouldn't work I don't think.

Yeah true, I dont think they'll really use the song but the news of him making a boxing movie just made m think of the Cinderella man joint......

Did a bit of research on the people responsible for the film, who are single handily the most important in terms of how the film is going to turn out.

Idea was bought by Stacy Snider (who was behind the 8 mile too, this is important as having the full support of the studio head is important - in terms of budget [director, music, actors etc.]). 'Some of the franchises she originated and oversaw include “The Bourne” series, “The Mummy” series, the “American Pie” series, “The Fast and the Furious” series, and “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers.” "Erin Brockovich," “Seabiscuit, "Ray," “Lost in Translation,” and “Brokeback Mountain” were among the films that won critical and Academy Award recognition'.

She's a very big deal in Hollywood, and it's good news to report (although it's very big company-ish money bs) that she was brought in by Dreamworks to revamp their studio which was mostly animation....and her partner in crime at Dreamworks is - Steven Spielberg. She was also listed as #63 in Forbes list of most powerful women in 2009.
