Lyrically Jay Z is pretty average (in my opinion, of course). He shines in other departments (ie; I'm sure he can wet the pop filter quicker than any other rapper due to his humongous bottom lip).

im a big lupe fan,lasers was a lil more commercial than his other albums and so was recovery,but i enjoy both equally but i do think recovery is slightly better.

Couldn't agree more ^ To date, that's the most equally impressive collection of verses I've heard from them. Otherwise, Eminem has pretty much destroyed (or ghostwritten) every verse on a collab to date.

I'm looking forward to the album, but I hope (if Eminem is even on it) that he doesn't do the new "scream flow" he's been on.

Ah, I hope that he doesn't do the screaming either. I mean...I actually didn't mind it on 2.0 Boys, he sounded pretty errm...hungry on that one. In fact, I never really minded the screaming on any of the songs because they all played their purpose.

Roman's Revenge - I can understand why people were a bit annoyed with that, but I guess he portrayed his 'crazy' side
Going Crazy - his yelling was alright on that, but it was recorded in October/November 2010, in the midst of his verses for Where I'm At, RR and LTWYL Pt.2
INAD - probably where his screaming sounds the best, just an abundance of emotion in that
2.0 Boys - like I stated earlier, just seemed hungry and he wasn't really yelling out of anger on that

I can understand why people are getting a bit...annoyed, but I don't understand why they're surprised? We all know Eminem goes through phases and we are all aware that the yelling delivery is/was the phase at that moment in time, yet they all acted surprised.

I kind of wish Living Proof was made official, because he addresses the yelling in a funny way. It's like a big FUCK YOU to all who complain - which is the Eminem that I would love to see again.

I'll admit that I was disappointed with his Where I'm At verse, but at the same time, for someone who has been in that position before can easily correlate with what he his talking about.
