I've never heard anything that wasn't beyond average from the dude. Granted, I haven't gone looking, but I heard him get trampled by tech at the BET cypher and on 6's & 7's. what am i missing here?

Go listen to one of his albums? Preferably Section.80. See if you like that, then move onto his other work.

I definitely wouldn't say that.

I can't even speak on his solo stuff as I haven't heard it yet, but from the little bits I have heard, even his XXL cypher... he's clearly a standout talent.

My friend told me about Section.80 so I checked it out. Really liked it, I was hooked to the album.

The appeal to me was that an everyday rapper came out of nowhere with original songs and ideas.

That's why he sticks out to most people, I think.

well ok, he doesnt suck but he isnt good either.
His lyrics are nice sometimes but only thing making him unique is his horrendous delivery, voice, face and everything.
Even hopsin's decision to wear gayass contacts was better way of sticking out lol
