I'm not too lazy to listen to the song. I've listened about 6 times right now.

I know the song is lyrical.
I just don't like the delivery he's using, and i think people need to stop expecting everyone to like it and complaining when they don't.

i lol'd hard, especially when he said its highschool music. 3 am is a great song, yes. one of his best in a while, no doubt. but better than kill you, no. lyrically, kill you was better, and if you think otherwise you're stupid. how is 3 am not just talking about killing, like you claim kill you was. kill you infact had more point to it than 3 am, the point was that he was angry. 3 am is just him being a serial killer....

To dismiss Kill You as "high-school" or whatever is just stupid. I think that the track really shows his razor sharp wit. It really is a shocking/ironic/satirical/clever/funny masterpiece. 3am is good in a different way. It's creates vivid imagery and is more charater/story driven.

The tracks are only similar on the surface in that they are about killing. They both approach the subject in a completely different way.

It's all subjective though. They are both fucking great tracks, but I'd still say Kill You is better. I'd understand why some would prefer 3am though.

The fact that 50 is in Norman Bates Hotel kinda ruins the excitment for me too. it sounds like such a sweet song, but i hate 50. nothing about 3 am discourages me about it though

If it wasn't a single and ppl just heard it on the album, almost everyone would love it. I think em shocked ppl by having this type of song be a 2nd single, so ppl are mad about that. They wanted some real personal shit, instead they got a story of a serial killer. I was kinda shocked too, but its still dope and cant wait for the album......

There is no argument. But yes, if you think Kill You was a hard song, then you need to listen to real music. Kill you is really for kids. Who listens to kill you? mainly kids. right? It's a simple song.

Dude, you need to accept that not everyone is gonna have the same opinion as you. Now you're throwing insults at people who prefer Kill You to 3am, which is pathetic. Have you ever considered that maybe there is stuff in Kill You that you are missing? If you think that all he says in Kill You is "Bitch I'm gonna Kill You, You ain't nothing but a slut to me" then you haven't listened to the lyrics very closely. It uses very creative lines and it is also satirising the media.

Like I said in my last post "IT IS SUBJECTIVE". You can make an argument for both songs. Just because someone prefers Kill You doesn't make them a kid.
