The bow of "Mine" is the eighth-biggest debut sales week for a digital song and the fourth-best of the year. 2010's largest entry so far is Eminem's "Not Afraid" (379,000), followed by "Love the Way You Lie" (338,000) and Swift's own "Today Was a Fairytale" (325,000). "Mine" is the lead single from Swift's third studio album, "Speak Now," due Oct. 25.

Cool, so basically for first week single sales in 2010, Em is 1st AND 2nd.

#1 - Not Afraid - 379,000
#2 - Love The Way You Lie - 338,000

Yep, really impressive when you think about it he has the fastest selling album of 2010 and the 1st & 2nd fastest selling singles. 2010 Is definetly an Eminem prime year like 2000 & 2002.

Not necessarily. It was 3 on the official update today, and it's 2 on itunes. More casual fans seeing the video, be it on youtube, music channels... I reckon it could do it come sunday

Yeah its looking doubtful but it has climbed to #2 and has a good lead over #3 now. The CD release will help but it looks like Flo-Rida is gunna hit the top spot on sunday. If it doesn't get to #1 in the UK this week or next then its done here and will settle for #2. Shame seeing as its been in the top 7 for 7 weeks now.

songs that have reached number one latley, wanted - the all time low, ne-yo- beautiful monster are all dissappearing quickley and it makes it even more frustrating that it hasnt reached number one because its sales are gonna be up there with the most consitent of the year and will probably be in the top 5 selling songs of the year ; EXTREMLEY EXTREMLEY frustrating that songs like just lose it in eminems catalogue can easily go to number one and songs as good as LTWLY can't get there...he hasnt had a number one now for ages !
