Eminem used to rhyme over minamalism beats, and most of his verses had an arch. When listening to his stuff he painted a picture in your head, told a story, etc.

Now he's a rappity rap rapper with wack punchlines, over production, and uses other bizarre and annoying gimmicks. (yelling, half-singing, squealing/screeching, etc.)

There kind of is. Too many alterations to his voice. The beat is loud in places it shouldn't be loud in. The scratching is obviously what they wanted, but it is distracting. Waaaay too messy.
