Doesn't make it better to you, and I'm not trying to make it better. You should stop taking everything so seriously. I said "no one said he killed it" because I didn't see anyone saying it, just like I haven't seen anyone saying it about this song. This is why I never base my opinions off of reviews / other's opinions because it's what they think, not what I think. Don't have crazy expectations like everything has to be a carbon copy of Lose Yourself. It is what it is, and people crying about it aren't gonna change it. Everyone's so uptight lol, just chill and enjoy it. It's fun to listen to and that's it. Would it be nice if the verse was better, deeper and actually about something? Yeah definitely, but it's a fun verse to bump casually, so that's fine too.

Ugh. When a song is bad, it doesn't matter how much you've anticipated it, you'll still be disappointed because it's bad. WHO is expecting a copy of Lose Yourself in a Rihanna song? No one. Especially not me. I kinda enjoyed Richard because it had some funny lines, without being too corny. Numb is just painful to listen to. YES I want deeper content, but if he tries to make a funny verse, he doesn't have to go all corny and stupid on it.

The least I expected was something decent, which he clearly didn't deliver. Now you can sit and argue about how we have different opinions all day long, I don't really care because like 95% of those who heard it don't like the song. You can enjoy and still admit it's not good. Anyway this is clearly not about C'mon Let Me Ride and we're off topic.

Fact is, don't ever trust people who heard the song. Except if you know it's someone whose opinions are similar to yours.

I'm sure it'll be the same with this song. It'll be silly, but people will somehow still comment "c'mon em why can't you make serious music?!"

And then when he delivers serious music it'll be "where are the hardcore Shady raps?!"

I think we're good fans because we stuck by him for years when he was out of the spotlight and there was no news. I remember checking weekly on google for any news and the only things I'd find were 'Fat Eminem' articles.

I judge his verses by their rewindability. So many of his I just keep rewinding to hear segments over and over again. I was disappointed with Numb, don't think that's immature. There wasn't much in Richard/Throw It Up/Our House either where I went 'shit, gotta rewind that part'.
