How can I control what bugs me and what doesn't? If I had the choice, nothing at all would bug me.

Probably because this line just sounds so stupid and isn't clever in any sense at all, but I can't say for sure.

It can bug you, like I give a fuck. I will light this bitch up like I'm driving a truck... ...but you were talking about it as poor grammar... first of all, it does make grammatical sense, that's number 1 - what it in fact is - is an uncommon and awkward phrasing; but that's not even the point because you've already acknowledged he's intending it to sound like that... therefore = not bad grammar!

When a writer does that, any grammatical scrutiny is moot! Because the writer is exploiting the common sound / perception of the usual grammar for a purpose.

You don't have to like it. But to say it's bad grammar is missing the point, and idiotic.
