I'm kinda surprised he didn't sell a million first week with his last album, but I didn't hear "Not Afraid" on the air regularly until early June or so (right when it leaked).

I'm not. I mean, he released Recovery with only ONE single out. Who does that? Lol. If LTWYL was released before the release, it would've been fucking huge. like 1million for sure.

IMO, thats not the whole story. The entire album leaked 3 weeks before the release date and within a few days love the way you lie was heard by everyone. Now I agree had it been released as a single it might have pushed his sales up. But i think you're giving too much credit to Recovery on selling 700k first week off one single. I think the album leaking so early played a huge role in improving from Relapse's first week numbers.

I don't think people who weren't interested in Eminem heard the song.. While if it was released as a single, the radios would've played it a lot more and stuff. You know what I mean? It would've sold more if LTWYL was released as a single, before the release date. I think so, at least.
