Best Rhyming In Any Song?

Postby D-IX » Nov 8th, '10, 19:58

I'd say anything off of Relapse was his peak at complexity but stuff like his "Afraid Of A Blade Freestyle" was just beautiful and fluent.

Are you afraid of a blade made of a razor with AIDS
Blood dripping from it, ripping your stomach up from the waste up?
You talk a lot of junk, but you was never ill though
I'm strong enough to beat you to death with a feather pillow
Tipped over some cows just for a joke and a laugh
Jumped up, choked a giraffe, snapped it's neck and broke it in half
Waging wars, went on stage and sprayed +Cage+ with +Agent Orange+
Then whiped my ass with his page in Source
The demon is here, I'm steaming this year
I ripped Mystikal's voice box out and screamed in his ear
It's not a gimmick, trick it's an image, I live it
Give a damn? I don't know what a damn is to give it
Man, I don't think this guy's well, I'm high as hell
I'll beat you with a live cat while I'm swinging him buy his tail
I'll frickin! I'll frickin.. lay your nuts on the dresser
Just your nut sack by itself and bang them stuffs with a spiked bat
Cut your neck off and glue your head right back and leave you like that
You just triggered a prick who just mixed liquor
Who's itchin to leave you disfigured and stiffer than Christopher
Reeves, I was teething with strep throat when your mother was breast feeding
And gave it a flesh eating disease
I'm iller than taking a hammer and beating your knees
And walking through South Central, LA bleeding in jeans
Flashing back to being shot and repeating the scene
On how you just got smoked
And if you do live you'll be too scared to tell it
Like a Biggie & Pac joke

Listen to the rhymes in Rock Bottom. It's crazy. But complexity, it'd probably be his Infinite days.

Yo,yo,yo, if I was white
I probably wouldn't even think the same
Id watch Tennis and golf and bet on Hockey games (Red Wings Man)
Wear suit and ties and go to work everyday
If I was white
I couldn't live around my way

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

Wow I don't know, maybe "Stay Wide Awake".

"Buffalo Bill" is amazing also.

Also, his 'fuck the law' freestyle verse is incredible, the way he keeps it so natural and... conversationalist, just casually moving forward in situation yet keeps the rhyme scheme throughout.

It's easily Rock Bottom. Nothing else compares.

Yeah "Rock Bottom" is pretty incredible.

Also, nobody has mentioned "The Way I Am", that's fucking amazingly written. The whole first verse is just... Wow. The way each word rhymes with the next in that way.

I think that further proves he's at his best when reacting though. "Rock Bottom", he wrote when he was severely depressed, reacting to a bad situation and "The Way I Am" he was reacting to a push from the label, then MMLP as a whole of course.

I wish somebody would pelt him with shit or something so he could react lmao.

I really like Infinite and don't really care but, as a lot of people have previously noted - There is a lot of babble on there. A lot of the rhyming is forced for its own sake, but its still impressive.

Also, "Biterphobia" is pretty awesome IMO...

Crazy how good he was from the start. I know he was rapping insanely fast and there's probably a lot of pretentious or nonsensical shit in there but still.

- Cause now buddy's noises force me to scream til my voice is hoarse
Cause I'm sick of these jabber jaws and crap that grab at yours and savage yours to bite like labradors
In the range of my double-barrel
And your life is in danger, trouble, and peril

That's badass, wish he would attempt this type of writing today. Just... complex for its own sake, battle-rap, overly-written rhymefest shit.

I wouldn't call that "from the start".

sure it did.
im not talking specifically about the song infinite. cuz ill admit thers random rhymes kinda thrown in..
but for the most part i believed the tracks make perfect sense.
I'm reminiscing on your tenderness and the snuggling and teasing
Missing what I remember, kissing and hugging and squeezing
Bugging and weezing, I'm having trouble when breathing
It's even tougher when sleeping
But there's a couple of reasons that I'm suffering and grieving
For loving and leaving, you all I'm thinking of in the evening
You got my knees buckling and weakening
Thoughts of nothing but freaking that I'm struggling to keep in
And interrupt when I'm speaking

i thought the rhyming here was flawless.
