Yeah he's changed in the last eleven years. Back then if you told him he would be apologizing about records he made and letting everyone under the sun produce his shit he would have called you crazy.

Shit changes, usually for the worse.

Amadeo wrote:"I'm not necessarily a collaboration-type emcee. Except on people that I know I got chemistry with. And I don't wanna spread myself too thin. I want people to want MORE of Slim Shady, I don't want people to get sick of Slim Shady, every time you hear a mixtape or every time you hear somebody else's record, Slim Shady is on there. When you're a hot artist it's like the trend, let's get the hottest emcee."

- Slim on radio, 1999

I think he's doing too many features. He's becoming a quantity-over-quality sort of rapper now.

How many features has he done in the last month? Seven? Shit's getting ridiculous.

Well I would agree except he lived by that motto for his glory years.

He put out three classics in a row, kept the features hand-picked and mostly quality and really didn't spread himself thin. Which is part of the reason his name stayed so exciting and has done throughout the years. His and Paul's inch by inch exposure of extreme talent. Always making people want more.

But now he's cemented himself in history and very likely put out the best stuff he will ever put out now (although who knows what he could come up with in the future) - AND the fact he's 38 and probably isn't going to rap that much longer, I'm all for it.

We lived like starving Africans being thrown cracker (unintentional but funny pun) crums (tracks) for so long that, give us the whole fucking pack now. He's probably just going all out now, which I'm fine with at this stage in his career. I just wanna hear more and more.

As long as he puts the same focus in, is all that matters.

Plus, Eminem said that 11 years ago...

You fucking serious? That's 4 in a year.

Compared to 7 in one month.

Do you not see the difference? Hint: putting out 7 features in a month is 21 times the rate of putting out 4 features in a year.

Let's not forget that all those features in 1999 were great. Stir Crazy was incredible.

You didnt ask about quality, you just said too many

I went back and added a few more that I remembered, almost forgot he was on the Biggie album too

Em contradicted that statement the same year he made it.......

So you are saying he should fall back on something he said 11 years ago? Be glad to have new music, if not, then move on.

For all we know, after this and next month, it could be the last we hear from Em, new song wise for a month. But, I don't mind the quantity as long as it's dope. And thing with Em is..even if he released 20 songs, he's overall so unpredictable that I think the demand for him wouldn't decrease.

Wrong. 5 Star Generals wasn't in 1999, that was 1998.

I don't think there was a Skam song in 1999? That was when he was underground. And don't think any Thirsten Howl collab was in 1999.

The Biggie thing wasn't really a "collaboration."

Regardless... that's still fucking nothing compared to 7 features in a month. 7 features in a month is overexposure.

Plus when he first started he was trying to get his name out there. He stopped that shortly after.

Amadeo, it's not Em's fault that Royce's vault got leaked, back then we didn't have leaks like we do now, if you counted the official features then only LWTYL2, RR, Where I'm At & All She Wrote are on official albums (and only 1 of those album actually came out officially). I'm pretty sure Em got VERY pissed over these leaks as well.

What is your point?i dont get it.Eitherway some of the songs that leaked are probably not even meant to be even out therE.

He had less collabs on his last 2 albums than any of his other ones, belee dat
