Because Em assumes the mainstream, or maybe... the amount of people who listen to that station or follow him maybe don't know. So thinks it's still something to announce.

Plus, it's only been mildly leaked and never properly confirmed by Em.

So do you really think the chances are high of there being another big announcement, besides the fact he's going to take on another lead role in a giant hollywood movie, and that he's not going there to announce that lmao? I'm not saying it's impossible, but I'd put good money on it being Southpaw.

I've just learned to not get my hopes up now as I'm always let down.

So I'm thinking about it logically. Would I love new music? Of course. But, he's released two albums in the past two years, with the second of those coming in this very same year. So the chances of more music from him as a solo artist, already - is Slim to none.

So at best, it'll be an announcement of Slaughterhouse officially signing or a D12 album. In either case... meh. I'll take the D12 album as good news as it's more Em music in a way but, meh. And if it's Slaughterhouse - that's cool but no music will be coming already so again - meh.

OR, it'll be the announcement of the next Recovery single. Which judging by all the performances this year - will almost in no doubt be "Won't Back Down" - which is the biggest MEH of all.
