i dont know about anyone else here but i know loads of people who think eminems music is rubbish, and i just dont get it. One of them is a Dre fan but he hates eminem . i dont get how anyone can not like his music!! He is (in my opinion) the best rapper alive, but there are people who say he isnt! Someone please explain how it is possible to not like eminem.

only a small portion of my friends actually like eminem, the reasons I hear for most of them not liking him is that "he moans, he whines, poor me etc" not everyone listens to music as closely as rap fans and to alot of people it's just words and shouting, sometimes when I think about it they're kinda right, most of the 300 songs i have by him involves moaning about something in some shape or form, relapse was the least moany album imo (accept beautiful obv) the first line of that song sums up alot of peoples attitude towards him lol, the hits like without me and TRSS is my argument back but even wen hes not moaning like on music box he still sounds like he is, my stepdads exact words wen he heard me listening to music box where (attempting to rap) "I'll moan about this, then I'll moan about that" lol, but at the end of the day its all opinion, but dont let anyone tell you he's crap, 25 million people on facebook agree with you which is more than any other male artist ,

The thing is people like Taylor Swift make up all their stuff, but people think theyre great. Eminem raps about stuff that has happened (mainly stuff that has happened to him) and people think it sucks. People prefer fake stuff.

I'm not saying those are true, I love Eminem, but it really isn't hard to see how people hate him...his whole life/career is basically built off people hating him. We wouldn't have Eminem if people didn't hate him.

This. Em is one of those people who is a real dude no matter how big he gets. And even those who dislike his music, almost always respect him as an artist.

The only people who I have ever seen "hate" him, are either those who hate people more successful than them -- or those who don't actually know who he is, and have just heard about him through other people. (or they haven't heard a song since My Name Is).
