Was the Marshall Mathers figure ever put into production?

Postby EminemFanWeb » Mar 16th, '11, 00:15

Eminem, Slim Shady... both of them Art Asylum figures are easy to find, but what about the 3rd figure, Marshall Mathers? was that even put into production?

When you buy either the Slim Shady or Eminem figure, on the back of the package it has a picture of the Marshall Mathers figure. I think also when The Many Faces Of Eminem Art Asylum figure series was released they released the figures seperate and they also released a set where you get them all but i'm not sure.

The Marshall Mathers figure looks the coolest, he is wearing all black with a D12 cap on and the stand is floor boards with a white wooden fence and a sign on what looks like a shed or abandoned house with boarded up windows that says LIVE BAIT.

I have been trying to find the Marshall Mathers figure everywhere and I can't find it, I have asked another Eminem collector and she said she doesn't think it was ever made.

Here is the link to see what figure i'm talking about if you're unsure:
http://www.figures.com/forums/news/1092 ... minem.html

Does anyone know if this figure was made?

Ive always wondered this too. I always just thought it was extremely rare, but it looks like it was never actually made.

I know, I thought it was extremely rare too when I first heard about it. What I don't get is if it wasn't made then why do they have a picture of it on the packaging?

Also if you click on that link in this thread, it says figures are also available separately which must mean that you can either buy them all in a complete set and get that doomed car with it too or buy them separate.

Oh thanks 4 the info. Can you remember how much it was? or if it was sold seperate or in a set?

Yeah I agree, that Eminem should be switched with the Marshall Mathers figure. The figure is based on how he looks in that photo where he's wearing the exact same clothes and standing infront of a red car.

I'm not a collector or even a fan of actionfigures, but I want this shit! The Slim Shady one looks sooo dope!

Checked Ebay btw, and the only one's for sale is the Slim Shady and Eminem ones.

Well, I don't care really what you're like on the inside and I just really want you to come to bed with me. Would you do that if you could? Even if you were just average on the outside (but not fat) I could like you if you sounded smart.

Yes it was. I purchased the 1st one of the set which was "Chainsaw" & planned on returning for the other two when I had the money. I know it was bcause I stood in the store for almost an hour staring at them trying to figure out which one to buy 1st. Of course I went with the craziest one cause thats my personality. Wouldnt it figure I go back to get the other ones and I was told they had to be removed. I was sooooo upset to know I had my hands on them and they got away... BUMMER
