really how is this possible how are other artists who albums sold way worse get higher amounts of money.

He sold more than anyone last year, has the most facebook followers and is the highest selling artist in decades and he is 71`st, makes sense i suppose. I mean its a pretty pointless list but id love to see the formula they are using

people don't realize how little artists make from albums (unless they're on an independent label). and how much artists actually make from touring. justin bieber makes $300,000 a night on tour. most major label artists will only make a buck or two from a CD sale.

Em doesn't tour, gaga and bieber tour extensively, + product endorsements
