What did we learn from the rapfix interview?

Postby Berry » May 21st, '11, 15:53

Let's make a lovely list...

1. He now base's his rap content/style on whatever's popular in the mainstream. e.g Young money/Lil Wayne punchlines

2. He isn't & hasn't produced any records for quite some time & it seems this won't change in the near future.

3. On the other hand, he does involve himself in the mixing process & the final sound. (I remember a few of you guys recently saying Em should fire his sound engineer lol)

Anything else people?

Why? His punchline game isn't that bad. In fact, some of recent lines have been pretty impressive.

Or perhaps you just don't like punchlines?

I hate it that Em is using punchlines.

He's going with the flow.
He's not being original anymore.

if he wasn't Eminem, I wouldn't listen to his music.

Can you tell me how the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK what Em says in that video has ANYTHING to do with Young Money/Punchlines? WTF. You know there are other rappers out there than Young Money, right?

He said he's trying to get on top of things, but it's hard doing that being in the studio. And the only persons he mentioned was ROYCE and D12. He wasn't even talking about what he "bases" his music on. Damn... You got me going lmao

1) Sways liked Eminem movements during the set of Fast Lane, said he was "feelin" every syllable of his verses or something like that.

2) Eminem and Royce are like "who can be more outrageous than the other one"

3) Members of Slaughterhouse would like to release their album during christmas.
