What Was Your Reaction When Em Signed Yelawolf?

Ok we all knew that Slaughterhouse was eventually going to be officially on the roster once the legal jargon and paperwork was done, but the Yelawolf signing sorta came out of left field, and shocked the hell out of me. 1. Just the signing in general, and 2. him signing a white rapper. Not that he's opposed to doing it, but just that he's never done it before.

I like Yelawolf now, he's grown on me little by little. I still hate his voice/delivery tone, but being around Em, all aspects of his rapping will get better I bet.

Anyways, what was your reaction and thoughts after it happened?

thought Em might have just done it cuz Yela is white. haven't listened to enough Yela to say that though, it was just an initial thought. he definitely flowed weird on 2.0 boys but it wasn't bad. I've heard 'Pop the Trunk' as well and I think if he gets on the right beats for his style, he'll be good.

His flow on Pop The Trunk was sick. I didn't know he could spit for that long in a row. I hope he is a success. #WhiteRappersUnite :smoking:

my one buddy introduced me to Yelawolf like 2 or 3 months before they announced Shady 2.0

so my first reaction was to tell him about the good news.

he and I were impressed. :y:

I think Yela can spit, especially how he's able to change his flow as well, he has decent lyrics. Im sure he will grow on everyone with his debut album as there's sure to be production from Eminem on there and other producers.
