Hell : The Sequel over Recovery...

Postby Emshady2 » Jun 4th, '11, 23:15

I really like The Sequel more than Recovery because it feels like it is the old Eminem... I'm not saying that Recovery was bad... Because I love it ... But it feels more good when Eminem just spits and dosen't care what he says about other artists and subjects... And with Royce ... It is straight fire...

I like his flow more and I know Ya'll don't care about the beats but It makes the songs more better... It is only a bonus if the beat is good...

Above the law is a song that is up there with Cold Wind Blows... The lyrics , Hook and beat is very good ... Just like Cold Wind blows...

So ... Did you like it more than Recovery?

When I first listened to Recovery, I loved it.

When I first listened to Hell: The Sequel, I was extremely dissapointed.

But a year has passed, and I still enjoy 8 songs from Recovery.

I very much doubt I will enjoy ANY song from Hell: The Sequel in a years time tbh, they are all just mehh

As of right now, I will agree. A lot of his punchlines on BME are far superior to his ones on Recovery, but song and album-wise...I dunno yet, I have to listen more.

Off the 11 songs, two don't fit though. IOE, and Lighters.

I'm On Everything fits. Maybe not lyrically, but sonically (or musically, if you will) it fits. Lighters is really the only track that I feel doesn't belong at all.

I don't know, maybe it fits but it's really different from the other tracks IMO. It's like, you go to work and then you have a pause, and when the pause is finished, you go back to work. IOE is that for me, sort of a pause in this EP.

It really is different, I will agree on that. It is probably the worst track on the whole CD. And by the way, you should head over to Shady Reviews. You might find something. :y:

No. The only thing Hell: The Sequel has over Recovery is the production.

Refill is better than Hell: The Sequel.

I'd go with Recovery overall, only because its a full solo album. The production on Hell is better than Recovery.

I think it's important to remember that despite the fact that we all know this is basically a full album, Eminem, Royce, and the label are all referring it to as an EP. Normally Em saves his best stuff for his own album tracks...imagine what solo stuff he's cooking up right now if THIS is what BME is. :worship:
