Lyrically, and in how it's delivered.
Sometimes life seems so unfortunate, that's why I don't give a shit
the poor stay poor, the rich get richer
It's just so disproportionate
You don't know just what I go through, that's why I would rather show you...
Just how far that I can take it, every rule - I'm breaking it
I really like the voice of whoever that woman is singing it. And it's very alike Liz who sings on "Almost Famous". Lmao, 'Liz' like we're on first name terms.
I do remember somebody mentioning the name of the slut on this chorus but can't remember it and too lazy to look back. It's a really well written hook too though. Both in what it's saying and how it's structured, and the fact it's not repeating a typical one-liner or 'chant', it's like a half-sung statement but. It's so good.
I presume whoever wrote that also wrote the "Almost Famous" hook as it seems the same kind of writing, the kind of generic (and I don't mean that insultingly), slightly poetic, personal and political touches in the writing. Again, was Liz and that Canadian cunt right? (not left). Anyway, great fucking hook. And great fucking song.
