It will, and in a year from now it will be looked at more fondly than Recovery.
They're going at it on the mic, having fun. Personal issues take a backseat and and playful lyrical bombast takes over, you got your improved punches and slick flows --- stuff you haven't seen Em do before like his whisper flow, his comments on music piracy and my favourite --- his intertwining multi-flow with Royce in Welcome 2 Hell (over a fucking Havoc beat no doubt)
As a stoned Youtube reviewer* said, it's like Relapse Eminem rearing his head from beneath the surface with a more furious Recovery flow.
You've got a light peppering of contemporary stuff --- mostly celeb references but nothing particularly detrimental to the experience of listening to the album in five years time.
The beats rewind, slow down and pause for the punches --- they're alive, but not so overproduced that they drown the lyrics (except Lighters?)
It's nearly a modern classic and it's definitely a solid release
THANKS FOR READING EM FANS
Side notes: Recovery's beats are obviously a mixed bag, you've got some fire like Cold Wind, On Fire, Going Through Changes (just - imo the chorus *nearly* ruins it, but that's just because i would prefer it to have a drum beat so Ozzie's voice doesn't sound like it's floating between a rap song), ALMOST FAMOUS and Untitled
