Anyone have any information on this?

Was anyone in the studio when he recorded? Did he do more than one take? Just any information surrounding this song.

I couldn't imagine watching that crazy bastard scream at the mic during this song.

From what I remember hearing yes, he did it all in one-take. Eminem used to, and probably still does, practice his raps SOO MUCH before he gets into the booth that he automatically has everything under control when he finally steps in. Em is the master at breathing techniques!

Jeff Bass was there when Em recorded Kim and he spoke a little about it in "VH1's Ultimate Albums: The Marshall Mathers LP"... just said it was very disturbing to watch (or words to that effect).

& yeah, it was one take. Em mentioned it in the Angry Blonde book, as well as the fact that he had nothing to do with producing the beat.

Well, according to some interviews, Eminem was con ecstasy when he wrote that. We was taking some with Dre, and he suddenly started to scream and shit, so they just... recorded it. And there is one of the greatest masterpieces rap has made for us.
