Eminem's Cypher Delivery

Postby popsomphills » Oct 12th, '11, 08:45

What did everyone think of his delivery? I thought it was pretty dope. It kinda reminded me of "The Reunion." It seems like he toned down the yelling a little, reminded me a little of MMLP flow combined with his newer Hell the Sequel shit. What do you guys think? Lyricism was nuts though regardless

I think it was so freaking extraterrestial. He was flowing so calmly, like the old eminem but with a little new in it. I feel like I could listen to him rap like that 10 minutes non-stop. Like the way he was just like in early albums like Marshall Mathers LP. Then I started hearing a little bit of Recovery-esque voice. It was kinda hoarse, and you could hear a few cracks. I don't know. It was just too new for me, and a bit underwhelming. Like he could have done more things like "The Reunion". That is my shit right there. Straight-dope delivery! This kinda pales in comparison.

His voice/delivery was definitely 99% "The Reunion" style. I thought his performance & lyrics could have been better, but he was not wack at least, not by a long shot.

meh. it's alright. flow is decent. lyrics could use some improvment.

tho, I've learned not to expect much of anything from Em, these days.

He wasn't shouting and his flow wasn't fucked up like most of his post-recovery verses so I liked it.

Everyone's talking about him sounding like the Slim Shady days but I don't think he did. I think his flow was the same as it's been for a last couple of years just without the yelling. It wasn't spectacular to me just his usual greatness. He's at the point where he's just consistent, not going below or above what he's capable of. But the cypher definitely got me hype for the other Shady artists.

It was a great delivery. He paced himself and didn't bust his nuts earlier, but waited for the conclusion of the cypher with a great fucking ending line.

Also Em on a Premier beat is something else. :flutter:

I really liked the Delivery on the Intro , kinda heavy voice.

The verses was delivered calmly ,nothing rushed while maintaining the pace.
