Eminem freestyle from Rap City 2009

I just stumbled upon this while looking at some old Em freestyles, and it's pretty awesome. Sure most of you have seen it, but it's still awesome.

Classic. At the end highlights the finesse I was talking about with his Relapse style.

It was so eloquent and smooth, I think Relapse 2 would of been a classic. Sounds so intelligent and poetic, little artistic flicks to the execution too.

That bit where he pretends to rap backwards is genius too. He stumbles across little ideas which are so original... I just wish he would commit to these kinds of concepts or ideas for full records rather than just coming out with them in verses now and then.

Wish he continued down this road.

Exactly why I think Eminem is one of the most influential, innovative rappers perhaps of all time. Nobody is thinking of doing stuff like rapping what he just said backwards in a successful way. Plus, his flow for the Relapse era stuff is just so damn smooth. It's like it's almost engraved into the beat.

It truly shocks me to listen to Relapse and then hear how different Recovery sounds, not just music wise, but as Eminem as a complete rapper. I think he would have been on something huge if he continued to create new characters and create a story around them, like he did for the serial killer type relapse.

I'm hoping he still listens to this stuff, and realizes how musically impressive Relapse is. From the beats to the flow to the lyrics to the chorus, it's really amazing. Despite the back-lash the album got, I think if he were to release another Relapse type album right now, it would be praised.

I need Christopher Reeves to come and lay his verse
I think he can spit it better on medicine ball, first off
I did not even realize the guy died
So I guess them Christopher Reeves jokes ain't gonna FLYYYY

Ooh! I'm on a roll, don't get me started...

Just, great delivery and genius

And that flying motion he does is just

Haters started to appreciate my art
And it just breaks my heart to look at all the pain I caused
But what am I gonna do when the rage is gone?
And the lights go out in that trailer park?"

Sick as hell!

I want to hear the Emx50 song they recorded for R2. 50 said in a interview that is was hot :smoking:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

"The Freestyle Gone Crazy " ,this title suits this Freestyle perfectly. The way he starts this is just plain raw and no way reveals what he is gonna say ahead. The Imagery that he brings is applause worthy and does show the Mind state that he was in back during the Relapse days. The Rhymes,Wordplay comes to shows the approach that he used for "Relapse 2".Maybe "Relapse 2" was more of a dark humor~ish Album, not leaving behind "Relapse 1" though.

The beat is sick ,Horror-Core worthy tbh.The 2nd Beat that was used wasn't that Impressive but yet worth the listen.Listening to this Beat makes me feel that Eminem should his next Album with Premo & Al.

Among all the Freestyle that he did this by far is the 2nd best that he did since his comeback, pretty solid to make his presence felt.

IDK listening to this line in particular I feel that did he bite some of Sadistik's Lyrics, not Implying by the name drop ,but...
