Was the Relapse album the best of all the relapse songs?

He said he had material to do 3 relapse albums, but he would narrow it down to 2. So he put out Relapse 1, and realised that maybe he couldn't finish crafting Relapse 2 because it didn't sound complete or album worthy so he ditched the whole idea. Do you think so or otherwise?

No, I personally consider Things Get Worse better than most of the songs on Relapse...but that's just my opinion.

I prefer "Music Box","Buffalo Bill" & "Elevator" from Refill to songs from Relapse such as "Must Be The Ganja", "Medicine Ball" & "Bagpipes From Baghdad" The Refill songs were suppose to be on Relapse 2 wern't they?

No, they he gave them to us so we could have something till Relapse 2 dropped. Like he said, he had songs for 3 albums.
50 also said that Relapse was dope, but he liked Relapse 2 more.

"I'm Having A Relapse" came out way before Relapse though, it would have been so random on R2. However, I was listening to the song yesterday and...holy fuck, it's still amazing. I remember when I first heard it, I listened to it...at least 400 times within the first few days. It was just SO fuckin good to me and it was new Em.

I miss those days.

No, think about it - why would he save WORSER material, for the SEQUEL.

He wouldn't put out a weaker album second. He intended on putting two albums out and had whittled down the material. So he wouldn't get all the strongest stuff for the first, then put out lesser material second, that makes absolutely no sense at all.

The first is meant to build anticipation, for the better, second. Especially when a sequel is already in mind. No director sets out to make a weaker sequel than the original. Clearly, Relapse 2 would have been better, and the Refill tracks show that.

Even right from the beginning, 50 Cent said the first is a 'treat' but the second is 'exciting'. Which also shows Em pretty much had the second ready to go too.

Plus, Em said Relapse / the material is almost ordered like he'd want you to hear it... according to, what he did first. As he said "My Mom" was one of the first tracks he did and "Stay Wide Awake" was one of the later ones, and that you can notice the improvement.

So Relapse 2 would have probably been the last / latest aka best tracks he probably did.

I think he probably trashed a classic. I'm so annoyed I didn't get to hear it, ffs.

I bet there was more songs like beautiful never released, but im sure em puts lotsa thoughts into everything released man so yea more or less. mayb there might b songs he made that woulda appealed to you more than others, but as far as generaly yea he prob did his music justice
