Inner City Eastside Detroit (7 Mile, 8 Mile, Dresden Street) or Warren (suburb)?


In some interviews he said he spent time growing up in the hood in places like Dresden Street and 7 Mile and of course 8 Mile, he also said he lived in the same Street as Proof in the hood but he also said he spent time living in Warren.


He also said he never grew up in a Trailor but spent a short amount of time living in 1, he said he grew up in section 8 public housing basically a house through section 8. He pretty much has said in interviews he grew up on both sides of the tracks in Inner City Detroit as well as Warren but which did he spend time more living in?

I know Kim was from Warren, and his grandma lived in Warren as well, and he & his mom lived with his grandma for a year after they initially settled in Detroit.

Warren, by the way, is basically right on 8 Mile Road, and it was considered really white trashy, super low income. It's the "racial dividing line" Em was talking about.
